Call for Contributions!

Why is the call for manuscripts?

We believe that everyone who works in the field of career development, whether they are front-line consultants, trainers, human resources workers, policy promoters, or independent researchers, has experiences and opinions worth hearing.HKICDA hopes to create an open communication platform so that practical wisdom and fresh ideas can be seen and discussed, so as to inspire more peers and make the knowledge in this field closer to reality and warmer.

For this reason, we are openly soliciting two types of manuscripts: views and research articles. This is not a serious academic journal, but a garden for you to share insights, cases, observations and reflections.

What kind of content do we welcome?

Opinion article: Write down your opinions, comments or initiatives on career development issues you are interested in. It can be the interpretation of a certain trend, the reflection of a certain policy, or the belief that you repeatedly verify in your work. We hope to see your independent thinking and professional judgment.

Research notes: Share your recent research findings, project results, practical cases, method attempts or literature collation. Don’t wait for perfection. Preliminary observation or small-scale attempts are very suitable as long as they are inspiring.

The topics we are particularly interested in include (but any topic you think is important is welcome):

Career flow and challenges under globalization

The impact of artificial intelligence and the odd-job economy on the career model

Career development support for disadvantaged groups

Experience and reflection on cross-cultural career counseling

Application and adjustment of career theory in practice

Sharing innovative coaching methods or assessment tools

Observation and comparison of vocational education and training policies in various countries

What will I get if I contribute?

Let the world see you: The articles that have passed the review will be published on the official website of HKICDA and shared with global subscribers through our communication channels. Your name, introduction and contact information will be clearly marked at the end of the article, which is convenient for resonant readers to communicate with you.

Official release certification: We will send you a formal release notice, and the article will also be included in HKICDA’s year-end magazine.

Who can contribute?

There is no threshold. Whether you are a senior expert, a newcomer, a front-line practical worker, a scholar, a graduate student, or a policymaker, as long as your content is related to career development, we welcome you. We especially want to hear from different cultural backgrounds and different work scenarios.

What are the requirements for the contribution format?

Language: English is preferred

Whether the content is professional, does it have its own views or new discoveries
